With Holmes opting to burn a first round pick on a non-premium position like off-ball LB and not going out in free agency and adding any significant run defenders, Campbell better help make this unit better against the run. That's a big reason why we burnt a first round pick on an off-ball LB.

He looked like he slowed down and the game was being played too quickly for him. You didn't see the same aggressiveness as a defensive defenceman and the puck clearing ability that he was brought in to display. He reminded me of Derian Hatcher when Holland brought him in years ago.

Chiarot's Corsi stats were dreadful last year and continued to decline from his career averages. His Corsi For Percentage (CF%) was42.5% and was down from career average of 49.7%. Also, leaving the advanced stats aside, the eye test just told you that he looked a step slower out there and wasn't as good of a defender as he had been in prior years. I'd love to have a healthy Edvinsson on this roster to take over from a guy who is becoming Darrian Hatcher the Red Wing years.

Should Simon Edvinsson make the main roster right from the get go this season? I say yes and go as far as saying I want him starting over Chiarot.

Brett Farve, Steve Young, Brock Purdy (lol maybe not) are also QBs who sat early in their careers and then flourished after having some seasoning. Kurt Warner sat for a decade before flourishing.

I thought the offense looked lifeless and really talentless yesterday. Our second and third string offensive players don't seem very good, at least with Nate Sudfeld or Teddy Bridgewater at the helm. Our offensive line depth doesn't look good either. In fact, they look terrible. I'd say I have mild concern over all of this but I'm not panicking by any means.

Our depth on the offensive line looks terrible. Hopefully we can remain healthy all season, because I have zero confidence in our depth along the line.

Screw Brewers ownership, lead by Mark Attanasio, and screw MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred. If they actually blackmail taxpayers in Milwaukee into financing them a new multi-million dollar stadium with taxpayer money, when Miller Park isn't even 25 years old, then this will be a total and complete boondoggle and travesty. I think people should be outraged at what's going on and at the threats of potentially relocating the Brewers if ownership doesn't get a new stadium. How in the hell can they justify trying to replace Miller Park when it's not even 25 years old? Amazing!
