I really, really like a lot of what Brad Holmes has done. But that doesn't make him infallible or immune to criticism. He's had a number of whiffs on defense in particular. Some are as you mentioned above. As well, drafting a 350lbs. DT with back problems and almost trading up for the guy. Drafting Josh Paschal and getting nothing out of him. Passing on Jalen Carter for a RB. Resigning Harris, Romeo, and Cominsky to be your primary pass rushers opposite Aidan and getting nothing out of them.

No ability to generate consistent pressure with the personnel you do have, so the one new guy you bring in gets one snap, gets a sack, and then he's rotated right back out. I'm not the coach on the field and I don't know diddly about these guys and how they want to use them ultimately. But I don't understand a situation like this and why Irvin wouldn't see the field but once.

It was all Aubrey Pleasants fault last year. I don't know who to blame this year, but we can't blame the person calling the plays and setting the scheme. That much I do know.

I spent most of the 2020 and 2021 seasons bitching about the state of the program under Jim Harbaugh and calling for him to be fired. I bitched about the inability to beat Ohio State, all the losses to Michigan State, choking it away against Mel Tucker, the losing record against top 25 teams, the inability to develop a decent QB. When Jim Harbaugh was first hired at Michigan this is the moment we all dreamed of a fans: beating Ohio, winning the Big Ten, competing for national championships. For a frustrating as the first 5 seasons were we finally reached the pinnical of college football. We beat MSU, we beat Ohio 3 years in a row, we are Big Ten champs 3 years running, and we're competing for national championships. Thank you Michigan! Thank you Jim Harbaugh! You've given me my fandom back and my love of Michigan football. I haven't felt this excited and elated about the state of our program since I was a kid. GO ****ING BLUE!!! Florida State should be in and I agree that Norvell has every right to blow up about this. Florida State did everything the CFP Committee asked of them, went undefeated, was 2-0 against the SEC, won their conference, and got screwed in the end.

We play Alabama and Florida State is out of it CFP.

The committee should take into account our inability to make adjustments on offense and get things going haha.
