First, let me say that it was a very nice gesture on Biden's part to call Mitch McConnell and check to see that he was alright. That type of civility and decency is all too often missing in politics. So good on Biden for checking in on McConnell. Come election time though, it won't mean a thing. McConnell will go back to supporting the candidate who hurls ethnic slurs at his wife and threatens our very democratic system of government because Supreme Court.

While watching the show Quarterback on Netflix it got me thinking about Kansas City Chiefs QB and Detroit Tigers pitching prospect Patrick Mahomes. If Mahomes had chosen baseball over football do you think he'd have made the show with us as a starting or relief pitcher? Do you think his raw talent as an athlete would have allowed him to translate into a good major leaguer?

I LOVE the new show Quarterback on Netflix. It's like Hard Knocks but but just for QBs. Such a good show.

The Big Lebowski is the absolute best movie to light up and kickback too. Get a snack about halfway through the movie and you're all set.

How about the thousands and thousands of members of clergy worldwide who have sexually abused and violated children. If any Republican wants to complain about the mistreatment and abuse of children, start with clergy and not the LGBTQ community.

I think the Mims trade is just ok since we are getting a pick back in the deal and likely didn't surrender a a pick higher than a 5th or 6th. I'd be quite upset if we somehow gave a 4th round pick or higher back. Once Jamo is back I expect nothing from Mims other than to be our 4th guy in the rotation behind both Jamo and Jones. I'm not seeing that Mims has any punt return experience, which surprises me a little given his straight line speed.

It just ain't gonna happen. The party and 85%+ of the voter base have cemented in their minds that Joe Biden will be the Democratic nominee and so it shall be. I'd love a younger candidate to run too, but I've accepted that Biden will be the candidate again and so I'm not even going to bother hoping from an alternative. Joe Biden it is.

It's the same with every sport. Until we have something of their own to go off of, we as fans nearly universally like to try and project what their teams new shiny toy might be like. Makes us feel better (or in the case of Bob Quinn and SVG drafts worse) about the player our team has drafted. It also gives us something to look forward to stat wise.

Is Ausar Thompson a Gerald Wallace type player with more playmaking ability? They're both 6'7 G/F hybrids. I also saw someone mention on reddit that he's a tough nosed, smart, high BBIQ, defensively sound player as Wallace was. Someone like Wallace during his run in Charlotte who will average you 16-18ppg, 2-3 assists, and 2-3 steals. I remember watching Wallace during the Goin to Work era when I watched a lot of NBA because the Pistons were actually worth watching night in and out. Is Gerald Wallace a fair comparison?

No, he still supports a guy who says his daughter's nicest feature is her ass and who fantasizes about having sex with his own daughter. You aren't missing much.
