  1. So basically the pats teams that won 98 suprebowls?
  2. covid/crappy team byproduct
  3. Cause you said nothing about stats "It's not like Goff QB'd a team to a Super Bowl or anything." You gave a total of one factor-- that Jared Goff had been to a superbowl. I used that one factor to point out that said one factor isn't that great. If you wanted to talk about stats in that year, maybe you should have mentioned them, instead of pointing out one and one thing only. That he went to a superbowl.
  4. So did Rex Gossman. I don't get why people thing that is some kind of feather in the cap.
  5. They need a massive influx of talent everywhere.
  6. Problem is its out west. Last time we won out there I think Ike was president
  7. Sure there is. Same way we might beat GB. THe opponent might sit everyone
  8. Yep and missing good players is certainly gonna make us better. Your strategy is full proof! And fact is our best player or rhe last 50 years were all taken 1 or 2 overall
  9. YES! MEANINGLESS WINS THAT COST US GOOD PLAYERS ARE AWESOME!!!!
  10. Big game next week for the draft
  11. Here's the list since 1970 Farve Brees Next up is probably Carr or Randall Cunningham. So two in 50 years.
  12. yeah my comment wasn't about wearing general tiger gear hauss. It's about nobody buys merchandise that says "we finished third ut it was a really good year!" Just a way to say nobody cares/remembers any body who finishes second.
  13. Is it. Nobody wears Tshirts for finishing 83-79. Let me put it this way, if Michigan lost saturday would anyone have said. It's OK the year was fun and at least they were in the conversation?
  14. Probably not. But, I also understand the major flaws in that article that lacks much critical thinking. To start off it takes the entire point that the lowest guys on the totem pole should get paid more. No industry works like that. Entry level is always the lowest paid. And the union wants it that way. Then you have the issue with the "fan complaint" section, the lack of understanding of top heavy free agency, the lack of individual cap contract in baseball compared to other sports, the lack of context about why a team such as the Guardians has spent 0 dollars, the lack of understand that every sport is getting younger, an inability to understand why a team like pittsburgh doesn't spend on free agency while ignoring the fact they give out deals to homegrown talent -- much like TB but we're not gonna complain about their lack of massive FA deals. The CBA hasn't gone towards the owners favor anymore than it was years ago. The players still have a crap ton of leverage and perks. But, the author here has ignored all of the things above to whine basically about the pay gap that the UNION created.
  15. That article makes so many false statements, stupid comments and ignores all context on nearly all of its points.
  16. I don't know why Lynn is suprising. An OC who loses the ability to call plays is basically a dead man walking.
  17. I get why people make that case, and it would make more sense if michigan right now had zero loses. But, they have 1 and then if they lose again that's 2. Why should Michigan get in over Iowa who would also have 2 loses, the conference championship, and a win over michigan. Does an OSU win trump all that? (or similar for baylor which would have a similar resume to iowa. But the whole scenerio is like 1 percent chance of happening)
  18. I think its a bit much to ask a rookie to a hit third for a team that is hopefully competing for most of the year.
  19. Till he trips over a blade of grass and misses two months
  20. The lazy narrative is was referring to was only the penn state/clifford thing. That's why i truncated your post to only that and said I agreed with the rest.
  21. That's why I said when you have 0 you might be able to do it. But its hard to run with 7 on a 53 as rookies. Your draft is 25 percent plus the other 7 who were picks this year.
  22. Lazy narrative is lazy. He start off as gang buster but it was 14-10 when he got hurt and he had been held to something like 20 yards on the two drives before the injury. (The rest of your post was spot on.)
  23. Ok then all your good game this year don't count too...why are we just throwing out games? And it was hyperbole, but 30 games is the longest streak in the last 40 years or so. In fact we have two of the five longest. So thinking a Maryland blowout is gonna happen is rather unlikely
