  1. Or we take the QB and trade the one drafted in the first round the year before for pennies on the dollar. Throwing away 1st round draft picks is a sure fire way to stay terrible.
  2. Justin Fields taking sacks like no other quarterback in the NFL 1st in sacks taken and 30th in pass attempts. Yikes.
  3. I think that the Carolina offer was better but Stafford wouldn’t go there. The 8th pick this year is better than 2 future late 1sts and Goff.
  4. I have no opinion on Pickett either way, I have honestly not heard of him before today but this seems pretty clear where that ball was going. It’s a little on the QB throwing the ball into this situation and it’s on the play design for having 2 receivers in the same area.
  5. I don’t hate Goff. He’s exactly what I thought he’d be. Bad. But the WR group they are running out there is embarrassing. The defense is every bit as bad as expected as well having almost no talent in the back 7, or 8 technically since we insist on running a 3-4 with terrible LBs, but they’ve found a way to stop a couple of teams from scoring at will.
  6. On the second clip it’s clear that he was throwing to the wide open receiver that sat in the zone and the receiver crossing in front actually broke up the play. Makes the whole analysis sort of lose its luster that he doesn’t notice that.
  7. Also Justin Fields is making the Lions look right again.
  8. Just saw Teez Tabor is playing safety for the Bears. That seemed like such an obvious choice given how slow he is.
  9. That PI call is enough for me to switch over the the TB game. That was not even close to interference.
  10. Travis Kelce is acting like a baby because he’s not getting the ticky-tack calls. Couldn’t happen to a better guy/team.
  11. If they can just stay competitive then it will be fun to watch again.
  12. And Columbus scores on the PP Detroit took for standing up for their player. Oh and Raymond went to the tunnel or locker room. Fun.
  13. Another chickenshit boarding not being called. Why do they let guys get run from behind?
  14. It was a nice play be Seider to start the breakout and nice effort by Larkin to gain the zone. Raymond scored top corner on the short side on the rush.
  15. Campbell is saying that receivers are not running the correct routes. Not sure I believe him but that would explain the severity of the struggles last game. Maybe Cephus was the last WR who actually ran the right routes.
  16. Because the players care maybe? I don't know. Trading a 6th for the receiver version of Stephon Gilmore isn't a terrible waste.
  17. Report: Detroit Lions have had trade discussions for a wide receiver Not a terrible idea. It says something when losing Quintez Cephus guts your production. Also didn’t know Campbell is taking this approach. “He’s trying to make a throw with guys that are MA-ing (Missed Assignments), and so he can’t even trust where the hell they’re supposed to be at,” Campbell said. “So I’m with you. I don’t mean to get upset. Look, he’s got to make some throws and then our receivers have to be where they’re supposed to be when they’re supposed to be there.”
  18. Dan Campbell: I think we’re going to shake things up here a little bit Maybe Cam Newton or Colin Kaepernick?
  19. Again, passing on a bad QB is better than drafting Mitch Trubisky in the top 3. Some of the best QB’s in this league were taken outside the top 5. A bunch were even taken outside the top 10. That happens when consistently terrible teams draft their bad QB in previous years and pass on the good QBs because they have their guy.
  20. That's his second 3 int game in a row.
  21. The rumored Carolina offer was arguably better but it’s also rumored that Stafford vetoed it.
