It's not always black and white like production that determine free agency. He has a value, at a price. I think he'll be an easy sign, like Kalif, and I would expect him to get a contract similar to Kalif.

Jonah is gone, he's going to get a big contract, and the Lions have to pay others.

Sweat doesn't make much sense, he's not a three down player. He's a great player, but the Lions have plenty of nose tackles. The Lions pick really low, and I think Holmes will do well, but he has to get a couple of corners, and maybe two guards.

Glasgow and Jonah are both going to be UFA's, so they will need maybe two guards. Josh Reynolds will also be a free agent, so he might have to be replaced. I think cb is their #1 need. They need top talent there to take a lot of snaps next year. I think the top free agent corners will be franchised, so the Lions need to catch that room up with the rest of the team.

Can we get this game going? This has been a long week.

Some teams have so many (Orioles) shortstops in their systems, that they have to move them to 3b and 2b, and suffer with great defense and offense.

What I remember most from the first game against the Bucs was the block of the year. It might be the best block I've ever seen.

If you weren't watching, the NFL is built on speed. Every team is loading up with speed. Except for the Patriots.

Tell that to Tyreek. Speed will always kill, St.Brown and LaPorta are outliers.

St, Brown and LaPorta are both fascinating case studies. Neither has top end speed, and if you went by 40 time alone, you'd probably knock St.Brown off the draft board. Both have a special knack for getting open, and if it was easily taught, then they wouldn't pop out the way they do.
