-Sweeney is a longer term development case. They have to figure out if he's going to stabilize at a .650 OPS and can get bettter over the long term. -Jake can't be this bad as a hitter and hold a roster spot.

Look at that Toledo lineup...plenty of guys who can come up for a few weeks to fill in gaps. We just can't have debilitating injuries to our core guys.

Wenceel Perez recalled off rehab..Matt Vierling placed on IL with shoulder inflammation...damn.

That's the mandate..his rehab has to be done by Sunday. But he can be called up anytime before then.
