Willi is found money...Carson Kelly is comparable but not on that production level.

They didn't hold Matt Manning out last night...so he's not available. It shows you how little they think of him as an option.

He mentioned that their bullpen was overtaxed tonight...and they need to get Maeda right. The break comes at a good time. You can extend it out almost two weeks to see if he has anything left.

If we're playing the semantics game, the Baez contract is an albatross. The Maeda deal is an impediment...he shouldn't be starting games going forward. But he will because they don't want to dump the money.
