  1. I actually have more confidence in the Lions on the road than at home
  2. I'd love to see that. Like you said, the defense is already vulnerable to explosive plays even when they drop 7. What would be the argument against frequent blitzing? The other team completing a pass they'd complete anyway? Glenn needs to draw up something to make the QB's life hell in these games
  3. I’ll say one thing about the Cowboys lately compared to the Lions. When they play an inferior team they’re supposed to beat, they do what they're expected to do and deliver convincingly. They don't just win, they crush
  4. Yeah that too. But if you could distill it down to a single turning point, that 4th down decision was it. They never recovered from it. I love Campbell's aggressiveness, and I don't want him to change. But this was a time when he needed to put the game in greater context, and recognize the degree of harm it could've meant had it failed. Risk management in that moment was horrid
  5. What an absolutely crushing loss. Lions had everything set up for them to win big today. Playing a losing team with multiple starters out, at home, national TV, Packers not that great offensively or defensively... couldn't have asked for a bigger cupcake
  6. Just another Thanksgiving day embarrassment. The entire country is watching your Lions today
  7. I wonder how many Packers will have "career days" today
  8. As badly as they've played so far, they were still in it. That decision might possibly cost them the game
  9. That TD was 100% on Campbell. He put his team in a bad spot
  10. That was a nervous 2-point call. I'll have to say though, I've been so sick of coaches like Caldwell and Patricia playing "not to lose". Campbell plays to win
  11. That has to be the worst call I've seen in at least decade
  12. Stacking Jameson and Sun God is working beautifully today
  13. He's honestly been the difference today. Corsdal is gettting mauled. Again. Just like last week. And Goff has been running for his life all game. It's a totally different OL with Jackson in there
  14. #2 offense in the league, 6 points. Getting embarrassed by a limping 4-6 team with 5 starters out. In their own stadium. A division game they need. On Thanksgiving day. Is SOL still a thing?
  15. This is how you beat Goff. Just bring pressure. Everything falls apart on the offense
  16. Lions peaked early this year. They're in a midseason slump
  17. Where's Gibbs? I'll do you one better! WHY is Gibbs??
  18. The Packers are a 4-6 team ravaged by injuries with a number of key starters out. A Lions loss to this team today would be epic
  19. I think the Lions are what they are at this point. Can't see much changing from here, except possibly gaining a couple of players off IR. As fans, just gotta roll with it. Rest of the season should be a fun ride
  20. I have no idea what to think about this upcoming game. I'm never worried about the offense - pretty confident they'll bring it. It's that defense. Who knows what we're getting on Thursday
  21. Definitely. In the near term, they're going to have to break the bank for Amon Ra and Sewell. Those are two franchise pieces they absolutely can't lose. And maybe Goff too. I thought trading Hock was a shrewd move. They replaced him with someone better and saved over 68 million. Holmes is playing the long game
