  5. I'm pretty sure all the subscription articles from the Freep can be found for free on Yahoosports. They regulary repost the articles within a few hours of them being posted on the Freep's website. As a subscriber to both Detroit papers, I inquired on this to the Freep a couple of times, they have never responded.
  6. https://twitter.com/darrenrovell/status/1685454700768862208?s=20 Max Scherzer will become the first athlete in sports history to be paid at least $15 million by three different teams in a single year. Washington Nationals: $15 Million New York Mets: $28 Million Texas Rangers: $15 Million
  7. Justin Rogers @Justin_Rogers Confirming @TomPelissero , a team source has informed me Gardner-Johnson's injury doesn't appear to be serious.
  8. The curriculum in question. https://www.fldoe.org/core/fileparse.php/20653/urlt/6-4.pdf
  9. The below article is a year old but man is it brutal. https://jetsxfactor.com/2022/06/01/denzel-mims-ny-jets-wr-film-stats/
  10. From Profootballrumors.com JULY 20: NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero tweets that the pick swap is conditional on Mims making the Lions’ 53-man roster. As a result, the deal is essentially a short-term free trial for the Lions as they look to finalize their WR depth chart in the coming weeks. A strong performance in camp and the preseason will go a long way in determining the former second-rounder’s fate as he enters the final year of his rookie contract.

  12. Meh on the fireworks story, who cares, much ado about nothing. Meanwhile, Lions have been featured on the NFL network most of the day, so far all W's. Currently trailing the Raiders by six with 3min left; current game under HC Schwarz. Another game after this one.
  13. My understanding is the Jaguars are looking at upgrades to their stadium in Jacksonville and working on where they will play for when this occurs. The options are the Swamp in Gainesville and Daytona Speedway. As far as I know they are not looking to leave Jacksonville, unless, it's London.
  14. Until you add in how the Rams viewed LB while Holmes was there and you see a trend that is continuing in Detroit. Holmes values the lines first and foremost, lb = 3rd to late rounds.
  15. Jet's defense is good no doubt about it, but, they do have some weaknesses Lions offense can exploit. Good discussion here. Edit: no idea how to get a youtube video in here. https://youtu.be/NR9suZ3RvZk
  16. Yes, brought my daughter and her husband there a week ago Saturday. She is vegatarian we aren't, but I love their breakfasts, as did she, Grit was the highlight of the weekend for her (it was a massive beer share weekend which she rarely drinks).
  17. I was in downtown Athens on Friday and Saturday, not really seeing the chains in downtown for the most part. Trapeeze and The Grit are still there and host of other bars restaurants as well.
  18. Supposedly some big NIL news for UM coming soon. Significant and game changing is what I was told, see if it is accurate.
  19. Predictable MSNBC tripe, there was definitely rot exposed and they are another example of it.
  20. Yea, you may want to research that a little more, I get its the narrative the media has been feeding for a year. The same media that will be paying a fortune in defamation suits in the near future ala Sandman. But don't let truth get in the way of your narrative.
  21. Doesn't belong there? His dad lives there, grandparents live there, aunt uncle and cousins live there, explain why in your opinion he "doesn't belong there"?
  22. Granted RZ issues more to do with ending than this play but..... https://twitter.com/chengelis/status/1457759198981275650?s=20 angelique @chengelis Harbaugh says Big Ten did admit to “mistakes” made in officiating at MSU.
