Fire Weaver the year after he hires Williams. Now Williams won't handcuff us like the other two moves did. But a new GM doesn't want to be stuck with a coach he didn't hire for the next six years. And at $12M a year, he isn't getting fired anytime soon. This isn't Texas A&M. If you are that close to firing someone, maybe don't let them make franchise altering moves right before you do.

I agree. Flip side of that. Anyone with the possibility of being in the lottery in 25/26 wont want to trade the pick because they want their shot at Flagg/Boozer/Dybantsa. No clue about the depth of those drafts. But those three guys are supposed to be studs.

Good news. They can trade first round picks after that pick is supposed to convey, which is 2027. So 29, 30, and 31 are on the table if the Bulls don't mind waiting. Bad news. We get Lavine.
