    Piston fans say he turned it around. Others say they just kept adding talent. Sexton and Garland were both there, Allen too I think. Added Mobley the next year. You know, a proper rebuild. Their offense was terrible. He completely misused Mobley by trying to make him a back to the basket big. He thrives facing up. But his biggest problem was losing the locker room. It's instantly over for any coach that does that.

    I can't get the tweet to post. But ESPN saying Detroit had permission to interview Dallas assistant Sean Sweeney and Minnesota assistant Micah Nori. They are also supposed to interview JB Bickerstaff. Bickerstaff is terrible. He would be a disaster.

    In 12 months the Pistons have fired two different CoY winners, one of them won it twice.

    I thought Detroit was a great job for a new GM. It is a terrible job for a new coach. Least amount of talent in the league. High draft picks management will want played even tho they are bad. Rookie GM with no prior experience. Big pass if I'm an up and coming assistant.

    I wasn't happy when they hired him. Him and Weaver both deserved to be fired. But I do agree the roster is hot garbage. Poor coaching, a poor fit, none of that matters if you have some talent on the roster. You can still win 30+ games under those conditions. When you lose this many games it is all about a lack of talent.

    I wonder if they try to get Cade's extension done before free agency starts. Having your star locked up another 6 years is a selling point to potential free agents. Not a big one, but still nice to have done.

    Teams have employed capologists for a while now.

    I think every organization is different. Some have presidents, some have GM's, some have both. More about responsibilities than titles. Langdon was on a short clock because of when he was hired. I imagine he has people in place now for the draft and free agency who will not be here this time next season. After free agency is over I think he will start to evaluate everyone and decide who stays and who he replaces.

    I thought it slipped a lot. I thought he was above average his rookie year as a defender.

    There is no need for a GM with Langdon running things.

    You can now begin negotiations with free agents that ended the season on your roster. You can begin negotiations with all other free agents on June 30th at 6PM. No contracts can be signed until July 6th.

    Only Pistons FA I expect back is Fontecchio. His deal will could eat up some of that cap space, depending on how big it is.

    Ferrari won Le Mans again. They are 2-0 since returning. I'm predicting they build a production model based on the 499P. They haven't built a Supercar since 2018. Good time to cash in on their Le Mans success.
