So that Bucks pick. The Pistons don't get a pick if it ends up top 4 that year. The odds are small, but man, what a kick in the gut that would be.

Hayward has two years left on his deal at $30M/$31M. He would actually be somewhat useful for Detroit since he will shoot 40% from three. But he just isn't healthy enough to be counted on. Also not sure how attractive #13 and #15 are this year.

Rumors are that Charlotte want's to send out Hayward for cap space. They are willing to attach picks to him and hold the #13 and #15 pick this year. The Pistons now have the cap space to do it without sending anything to Charlotte if they so desire.

It is pretty fair value. That Bucks pick will most likely be somewhere in the 20's. Don't forget. Grants 3PT% is 35% the last two years, below league average. His TS% the last two years is 55%, right at league average. You were never getting a lottery pick for him. He basically was traded for what Wood was just traded for, which is about right.

I guess Woj went on to say that Sacramento is very comfortable drafting Ivey. So not really about not wanting him. Just seeing if any offer is worth more than just Ivey.

Not sure about most of those, but that Trevor Lawrence number is flat out wrong. He did an endorsement for a crypto site/exchange. In the press release that site called his endorsement payment a signing bonus and journalists just assumed they meant his NFL signing bonus. So he probably still lost money. Just not that big $24M number.

Realistically they will have about $20M in cap space I imagine. They wont have the MLE obviously. You can renounce and sign guys later like Bagley. The problem with that is you give up their Bird rights when you renounce them. So then you have to use raw cap space to sign them again.

I believe all the wind tunnel rules were to cut costs. Can only have 60% model size. The hours are limited, speed limited, etc. They are talking about a wind tunnel ban in 2030.
