I guess I sort of dropped that post in when people were discussing service industries, but that wasn't the point. The jobs report said we lost 78k manufacturing jobs this year, and I find it interesting we are producing more even with those losses. Plus, GDP measures dollars and the manufacturing index does not. You can't compare those two

They will dump White, or should. And nobody is building a team around a guy making 15% of the cap. That is 4th or 5th starter money. If the Bulls do decide to build around Giddey, that's on them and doesn't change the fact that 15% of the cap is good value for him.

They seem to be turning things around. Dumping Lavine was a great start. Locking up Giddey for 15% of the cap is a steal. If they are smart, they will dump White next. They can have over $80 million in cap space next summer. They have all of their draft picks + a Portland first. The Patrick Williams contract, though, yikes.

2nd estimate of Q2 GDP adjusted up to 3.3% from 3.0%. The Atlanta Fed is also predicting 3.0% growth for 3Q. But that fluctuates quite a bit. Gross Domestic Product, 2nd Quarter 2025 (Second Estimate) and Corporate Profits (Preliminary) Unless inflation drops on Thursday, I don't see how a rate cut happens. But Fed Watch predicts a 25 BPS cut at 91.8% probability and a 50 BPS cut at 8.2%.

Is there really a decision? Sign with the team offering the most money. You're broke, owe a bunch of money, get the bag. Picking a team offering less money confirms he is terrible with money.

Thing is, it won't be completely refunded. The refunds will stop at the company level and not filter down to the end user, which is the customer.
