This is what I was talking about with the Beasley situation. All that to lay $13K? He most likely had to use multiple accounts, which means you need multiple people to sign up. You would need to be like +800 to win $100K in that scenario. You lose a third of your winnings to the people that signed up for you. They want a cut, plus enough to cover their tax bill. And Rozier made $25 million last season, or just over $300k per game. I guess if you're broke, it doesn't matter how much you make per game. Also, no way you don't get caught. Old school betting with live bookies, maybe you get away with it. On an app where computers can chew on the betting patterns? No chance.

These are the 2Q ratings for 2025. 200K viewers in the 18-49 age range is terrible. Did Paramount do some horse-trading and offer up Colbert? Sure, it's the smart move. But he was already on his deathbed. All of those shows are.

A bit of a sun run, but he also played really well. A pro like him against amateurs plus running well, they had no shot. I think I heard today only took 56 minutes. HOF induction is a bit odd. They only allow one nominee per year, but they made an exception for him. He deserves it.

Looks about right. Detroit is basically treading water. Didn't get better, didn't get worse. Wish they had addressed their needs a bit more, though. Back PG, Backup/starting PF, size/defense/shooting at the 5.

SL has never been about the games. The games are just an excuse to get the young guys into a training camp environment for a week or two so the coaches can put eyes on the new players. These games are trash with a bunch of guys who won't even play in the G-League. You don't benefit from that. Most NBA players will be back in LA next week at UCLA. Then the Rico Hines runs will start. Getting your ass kicked there will benefit you much more than any SL game will.

Day 1 only lasted 5 hours. Mizrachi has been playing great mixed with some good fortune. His AK against KK and spiking the A on the river was some nice luck. He has 7 bracelets and a 5th place finish in the 2010 WSOP Main Event. I think he would probably be the biggest name to win it since Jesus in 2002. But when he won there were only like 600 entrants. This year there was just over 9,700.

Not going to go crazy over SL. But he did average over 7 assists per game for the Cruise last year. Being a two-way guy means he can play 50 games for us. I would be more willing to give him a go rather than continuing the Sasser experiment.
