They play each other twice in the next 2 weeks or so.

Something like 4/$140M would be a steal on Ivey I think. Unless you don't see him improving next year. But he has improved all 3 seasons, no reason to believe that will stop now. He is going to be a guy that scores 20+ ppg shoots 40% from three and can get to the rim with ease. That gets him the max after next season no problem. Of course, if I'm Ivey I never sign for anything less than the max. Security be damned.

Probably best case scenario after seeing him screaming in pain last night. Glass half full view. It probably makes the play-in unrealistic this year. They will lose their pick this season if they finish 14-30. So they will probably keep it allowing them to use it or trade it. They still need to add talent so this isn't terrible news. Also, maybe this worries Ivey and he takes a more team friendly extension this summer. Sacrificing dollars for security.

It probably won't work long term. But I love the Holland, Thompson, Stewart lineup.
