Plus, what fool would sit out and miss a chance to wear the coolest uniform in the league.
-
Teams have all the power though because its almost impossible for a player to sit out. Butler has a player option next year. He can't sit out this year and then decline it and become a free agent. Because he sat out the years on his contract do not move forward. When he comes back he would still have a year left on his Miami deal. Players can be loud and make teams uncomfortable. But at the end of the day the team has all the power with a player already under contract.

Clippers best the Nets by 59 points last night. The Nets scored 67 points.

There were reports of him telling teams not to trade for him and he would only go to Phoenix. His agent denies it so who knows what is or isn't true.
-
Probably this.

Pistons have improved.

He was talking about Ayton.

People are saying Detroit did not apply for a disabled player exception for Ivey. You have to be out for the remainder of the season to get one. Wonder if they do feel he has a shot at coming back.

Same issue as the CJ trade. Smart has one more year than Hardaway and it messes up the cap space situation.
-
Yep and they would still need to replace or retain Reed and Hardaway.
-
So just estimated their cap space now that Reed is off the books next year. If they renounce all free agents except Beasley, they should have roughly $19M in cap space. Add another $7.2M if they renounced Beasley. That assumes Cade does not make all nba. So things aren't as bad as believed.

ESPN loves him. Up to 21 in their lates mock.

I can relate.

It will take some creative thinking without a pick this year and no cap space this summer. It will also require a lot of internal growth. Ivey, Holland, and Thompson are the three that we really need to develop. Duren would be nice, but not counting on him at this point. I expect big things from Ivey next year. Nobody will want to hear this next part, including me. It probably will require some sort of calculated risk at sometime. That means taking a chance on a good player who maybe has an injury history that makes us cringe.

Sam Vecenie did a rookie power ranking and had Holland 14th.
