I think those days are past, or about to be. They are out of cap space starting this summer. They can no longer bring players in for picks. Also, nobody gives up 1st round picks for cap space anymore. On top of that, they have a decent shot at giving up their pick this year. So why wait for picks? That pick is 3+ years away from helping this team. Cade isn't waiting on that.

Is Meta about to buy Tik Tok? Zuck has his nose so far up Trumps butt its insane. Is he buttering him up so his DOJ overlooks what should be a massive antitrust case?

Sam just broke my heart. I had no clue.

5 in a row for Indiana. Sort of like the Pistons win streak though. All 5 are pretty bad teams. Maybe Brown was the issue in Sacramento.

I will probably pull for ND. It will drive Brian Kelly nuts if they win. It's the small things.

I have unconfirmed reports he snuck a box of beignets on the team plane.

OKC damn near about to double up the Knicks right before the half at the Garden.

Miami seems like good value. I would say they keep him more than 25% of the time.

Rough year in NO.

I dont want to flood this thread with investing BS. But this is a nice flow chart from the personalfinance subreddit. Again, this is a guide, not absolutes.

Pretty standard to build an emergency fund, invest in your 401K only enough to hit the employer match, then start paying off high interest debt, then go as hard as you can on your Roth. 401K's are not that hot. Normally they have higher fees than IRA's. You also have a lot more choices of what to invest in with an IRA. Another big benefit for someone just starting out or rebuilding. You can pull your Roth contributions out at anytime without a penalty or paying taxes. You only pay taxes on the gains. Sort of acts like a second emergency fund.

People laughed at that comp around draft time. But its pretty accurate.

They play again this Thursday. Curious to see if a lot more watch after how good the first one was. Just to add a little context. I think Lions-Vikings did 27 million Sunday night.

It doesn't solve an existing problem. We have top level golf on 4 days a week now. I doubt Thursday and Friday ratings are very big. Nobody was saying we need a fifth day of golf. Seems like it would have a better shot at success if they put this on between the end and start of the season. Also, a lot of the holes were pretty cool. But I think they are underestimating the appeal of existing courses. It's a lot of fun watching Scottie play a hole that Tiger and Jack played 20 and 50 years ago. I'm not saying go play 18 at Bethpage. But maybe have a week where you take individual holes from existing courses and create your own virtual course from them. I suppose they would have to pay licensing fees then. I saw the ratings were just over 900K. Curious to see what that looks like a couple of weeks from now.

Next part of his game he needs to work on is his efficiency. He had a 56.9% TS% over those 20 games, which is ugly. Most of the elite players are north of 60%. He needs to draw more fouls. That will help his shooting% around the rim go up (misses turn into fouls so now they don't count as misses) and he needs to shoot better at the line. 79% over those 20 games. He is at 84% for his career, so not real sure why he is shooting so poorly from the line this year.
