Brunson is sick and listed as questionable. Knicks played yesterday and won by 34. But its Thibs so he still had 3 starters play 35+ minutes. Could be some tired legs, but they didn't travel.

Tough schedule the next month or so, including two long road trips (4 and 5 game). Not sure how odd this is. But tonight they travel to play one road game. Same thing with the final game of the year. Everything else the rest of the season is just a series of either long road trips or long home stands.

We never heard what the assets were with Mobley. If it was even a real offer. The only rumored trade I would have 100% done is SGA for the #1 pick. He was under 25 and already a star. Which is why I never believed the rumor. You make that trade 100 times out of 100 if you are Detroit.

But that doesn't work anymore. The new CBA punishes teams over the cap too much. The high cost vets are being priced out by young guys due to the sever punishments the second apron brings. You need contributors on their rookie contact to help with the new cap rules. This is why everyone has been blowing Presti for acquiring all of those picks. He was on the negotiation team for ownership and understood what the rule changes would bring. The Pistons have had the ability to take cap space on for 5+ years now and have collected exactly 0 1st round picks for it.

As the resident Cade fan boy, I don't think I have ever said anyone in that class would be better than Cade. If I did, it would have been Mobley. I simply said when Barnes won ROY and made the ASG that he was better than Cade. And he was.

Barnes goes scoreless in the 1st and its still tied. Better get this one. Schedule gets pretty rough the next 10 or so.

Awful defense by Fontecchio. 6 second left if you go for the steal you better get it. He didn't and Toronto got a wide open 3 attempt that went in at the end of the quarter.
