  1. Transfer portal about to get wild.
  2. As far as Beasley goes. I think he has move value than Bogie did. Younger and more important, much cheaper. Not a lot of people can trade for a $20M contract. Pretty much everyone can trade for a $7M contract. More competition = more value, hopefully. Pretty easy to decide on trading him or not. Do they have a shot at the playoffs? If yes, keep him. If no, trade him.
  3. I would offer Ivey $30M per this summer and willing to go up to $35M per, but if he wants higher it would have to wait and see how he performs next summer. This assumes he continues at his current level of play.
  4. Yep, past data is huge. We have spreadsheets that incorporate the past 3 years of sales if available. We give more weight to last year than 2 years ago. And more to 2 years ago then 3. It gives us a baseline for supplies and staffing on individual nights. Your location and community calendar are also important. We have a couple of locations close to the town center. So we need to know is there a tree lighting ceremony, parade, festival, etc. So we can staff up. Close to a few high schools, so we need to know are 8 schools coming in this weekend for a big track meet or wrestling meet? That is a lot of parents that will want to eat. Is there a big craft show at the high school this weekend? Basically we need to know about anything that brings more people than normal to the area so we are ready for the spike.
  5. Did I hear correctly? They are renovating the dorms at MSD? That deal seems to have worked out well for everyone. MSD got a beautiful new building and Powers was able to move their campus to a better part of the city. Fay Hall was renovated. Still one of my favorite buildings in the city.
  6. We have almost zero waste. Most well run restaurants will be the same way. Some exceptions. First one is when you first open a new place. Traffic is so sporadic and unpredictable. We have nights we do $1,000 and the next day do $30,000. You have to be ready for the big night because you generally only get one shot with a new customer. If they come in and half your menu is 86'd they wont give you a second shot normally. Second is weather. If you normally do 1200 people on a certain night and there is a snow/ice storm and 50 people show up. Well, its a bad time. After about a year you really see waste drop off to nothing. Chefs have enough data on how busy you are and that obviously helps them on supply orders. Plus, your staff is fully trained up and that always equals less waste. We also do 50% profit sharing and let me tell ya, that really makes your staff pay attention to detail when the waste is coming out of their own pocket basically. We also do a staff/family meal every day. So on the odd chance we do have some waste, we make it available to the group doing family meal that day. As far as donating, we tried. Its too sporadic for them to dedicate a volunteer to pick things up, etc. So we implemented a program that lets our employees volunteer 5 hours a month and we pay them for it. Originally that was just for food banks but now we let them do it for most charities. We aren't going to pay them to donate time at the local right wing militia or some free Hamas group. Religious charities are fine, just not the extreme ones. Unfortunately, not a lot of employees take advantage of this.
  7. Oh yeah thats been there forever. Its at the end of Hammerberg road where it T-junctions with 12th. Easiest way is to just take 69 to the Hammerberg exit and 12th street is right off the exit. At the intersection it will be directly across from Hammerberg Road. https://www.google.com/maps/@42.9943099,-83.7043981,1109m/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI0MTIwOC4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D No rules to it, people just paint over it whenever they want. Usually its used to memorialize someone. I guess it is some sort of pump house.
  8. Flagg on The ACC Network right now. Playing that traditional powerhouse, Incarnate Word. They have a campus is Strasbourg so Buddha probably has money on them.
  9. Oh. That part he means not Stewart lol
  10. I think he means Cade.
  11. Someone painted this on the rock in Flint. Looks amazing. A lot of work knowing someone is going to paint over it in a minute.
  12. I didn't have this one on my bingo card. The Latest on Rich Rodriguez's Possible Return to West Virginia
  13. I have obtained a photo of the McDonalds employee that turned in the shooter.
  14. Reports that Miami is open to discussing Jimmy Butler trades.
  15. Rumor was that Danny Ainge and the Jazz owner were dumping a ton of cash into his NIL deal. Some suggested up to $5M for one year which would be even larger than Bryce Underwoods deal (per year) to play QB at Michigan.
  16. lol Can we at least get a rule you can only enter the portal once a year?
  17. Basketball Reference posted a few maps as their end of the year wrap.
  18. Not one the NBA can extract profits from.
  19. Fools. Looking for rats in the subway. You need to head down to city hall for that.
  20. Speaking of transparency.
  21. He isn't untouchable. But you would have to overpay me to get Ivey. He still is not a good defender. But you can see the effort is there and good coaching can turn that into a viable defender. I would be shocked if he isn't a plus defender in a couple of years. BTW, Cade is shooting 39% from three. These two can definitely play together.
  22. Yeah. That is a nice chunk of change for a team looking to dump salary. The site says the same thing happens next year. If he is on the roster on 1/10/26 then his deal for 2026-27 is guaranteed. So even if they don't do it this year, they get another shot next year. The multi-year view on Spotrac is what I'm using. https://www.spotrac.com/nba/detroit-pistons/yearly
