Lots of reasons. Selling family home where I took care of my dad, but staying in Jersey too pricey. I have a sister/brother-in-law in DE, I’ll be 15 minutes from them… and I really like the area (college town). So many things to do.
I’m being optimistic, and going to enjoy whatever is left of my life at this point. I’m going to worry about me first, for a change.
omg.
In a couple of months, I’ll no longer be a Jersey Girl.
I’ll be a Delawarean (is that right? Looks odd)
…. I can’t believe I’ll have to pump my own gas. That stinks. Who can I talk to about that? 🤪
Hmmm.
9 to 5, Spinal Tap, all Mel Brooks movies.
I will have to think on this. I know the very last scene in Moonstruck when they’re all around the kitchen table totally cracked me up, but that just could be because I grew up in a very Italian family neighborhood, and so much about that scene was totally spot on..and hilarious.
lol. We all know that the only reason he’s annoyed this morning is that he’s already been clearing a space on a golden mantle somewhere to hold his Peace Prize.
Lest we forget, this is the person who’s going to be in charge of protecting us here in this country against any around and terrorist threats. No worries!
So here’s another verse ( minimally altered) that may address your point… 🎶🎼🎵
“Yeah, come on Wall Street, don't be slow
Why man, this is war a-go-go
There's plenty good money to be made
By supplying the Army with the tools of its trade
Just hope and pray that if they drop the bomb
They drop it on old Tehran”
