Not really a peeve, just feeling upset today. Yesterday’s “Debby” stuff brought incredibly strong winds & lots of rain, and toppled my smaller (but totally healthy) weeping cherry tree. The tree thankfully didn’t hit the house, nor fall into the driveway and hit my neighbors car next-door. So that’s the good news, but I love that freaking little tree. Such a beautiful flowers in the spring, though short lived. It’s gorgeous weather today and I just can’t enjoy it. I’ll admit it. I’m really sad.😢

I would really like to be able to laugh at this one, but I’ve got girls in my family who are 3, 11, and 14…. so the emotion I’m feeling instead of humor is fear.

Omg… so, yeah… I wrote that after watching the first three episodes of season three which I really enjoyed. Then I watched the fourth episode and thought it was a disaster. Lol. I’ll continue to watch but if episode four is any indication this is going to be tough to watch to the end.

Another two series I really love are “Troppo” on Prime, and “The Flight Attendant” on Max. Both have kinda crazy, impulsive female leads. “Flight Attendant” is a comedy/murder mystery. “Troppo” is a murder mystery without the comedy.

So yesterday, I decided to try season three episode one of The Bear again. Let me just say that my previous comment about the show not being up to snuff was …WRONG.🤪😎 (I think my problem was that I started to watch that first episode a couple of months ago right at bedtime, and I was obviously just too tired to stay awake during.) I watched the first three episode yesterday afternoon, and absolutely loved them. ❤️ Yes it’s different from seasons one and two, but I’m kind of enjoying the introspection of the characters so far. So, I’ll just have to disagree with the rest of you guys who have not been happy with season three of The Bear, and as we all know, I’m never wrong.😁

In fact, gender transitions are banned in Khelif's home country of Algeria, so if she hadn't been female at birth, she likely could not even have competed under their flag as a woman. Khelif is not a transgender athlete. She was born female but has a disorder of sex development (DSD) that results in XY chromosomes and naturally elevated testosterone levels. DSD encompasses a group of rare conditions that affect genes, hormones, and reproductive organs. Individuals with DSDs may be raised as female but possess XY chromosomes and testosterone levels typically found in males.”
