I plan on still wearing my mask when I’m doing casual shopping, grocery shopping etc. I have an operation coming up in about 4 to 6 weeks, and I’ll be damned if I’m going to have this virus before I have to check into the hospital. I didn’t go for two years being smart about this to changed today.

I think another factor is/was the airports that had international travel. I think the infection rates for those states, especially if they’re more densely populated are/were affected with the reflected higher infection rates, sickness, and deaths.
