google sucks now for searches.  It's basically useless.

I've come to this realization in the last few years as well. Particularly in things like googling household problems. Companies have rigged the algorithm to steer traffic to their sites and gin up business.

  2. The way Perez is being featured, I think Meadows gets the axe unless he heats up. Unless Urshela can fill in at short, you still need McKinstry around. It doesn't help that Leonard and Kreidler got hurt in Toledo to give us some shortstop depth.

How does that Fanduel work? +146 if all 3 of those things happen. You win $146 for a $100 bet?

    You sign up.

    They take your money.

You try to get it back

They take more of your money.

You try to get more of your money back.

They take more of your money.

Endless spiral of addiction. Don't gamble.

  4. One of my favorite bits of left wing mob hypocrisy was 2020 when they were rightfully mocking people gathered in groups, but twisted themselves into knots to justify the superspreader Floyd protests.

There's really no coincidence these protests are happening in an election year like the George Floyd protests in 2020. It's also not a coincidence that these campus protests intensified 6 months after the Hamas attack when Trump's trial started.

Add in tik tok ban nearing the finish line, and China's algorithm is stirring it up while they can.

This is why it is important to take a step back and fact check before sharing things in any medium, particularly if it is something supercharged

Great list. I should have been more specific....pitchers drafted and developed by Detroit. Thompson, Robertson and then Skubal. And Skubal moving on up!

Robertson was not drafted by Detroit. Acquired in a trade for Mark Redman, and had already pitched for the Marlins before the trade. Similar to Boyd in that regard.

Is Skubal our best LH starting pitcher since Mickey Lolich?

I was curious so went over to Fangraphs and got LHP fWAR for Tigers since 1975.

    • Frank Tanana 18.1
    • Justin Thompson 11.2
    • Matthew Boyd 10.5
    • Nate Robertson 9.2
    • Tarik Skubal 7.7
    • David Wells 7.5
    • Mike Maroth 6.9
    • David Price 6.4
    • Daniel Norris 6.0
    • Willie Hernandez 5.7

Fun fact: Casey Mize, our 1/1 pick from six (!) years ago and from whom we have been waiting for something anything ever since, is going to be 27 years old next month. He is also going to arbitration next season.

He was arb eligible this year, and might not go next year if we pick his option up.

I mean, he's screenshotting the current results. Not sure what that has to do with a Filipowski tweet. Pennsylvania had a primary and a candidate who dropped out 6 weeks ago is getting a sizeable chunk of votes. I'm not buying a bunch of Democrats in Pennsylvania switched parties to vote for Haley. Mail in ballots did not go out in Pennsylvania until the end of March after Haley dropped out.

Confirmed. (I can't believe I'm wasting time on this, haha)

Pennsylvania doesn't have early in person voting but you can turn in a mail in ballot early. I'm going to guess not a lot of people turned in ballots over 6 weeks ago when Haley was still in the race if mail in ballots were even available yet. Pennsylvania is a closed primary so these are registered Republicans. Even independents cannot vote in a primary. This is not a good result for Trump.

I registered as a republican just for the primary so I could vote by mail early. I'm currently scouring the August candidate pool to see which party I should join for that primary. It looooks like Dem because the only closed primary that has any kind of race appears to be US Senate. The moment the mail ballot came in, I voted for Haley and sent it right back. She dropped out a couple weeks later. I'd be curious the mail-in ballot statistics, but I'm not really going to spend time on a Flipowski tweet. He's blocked for a reason.
