  1. Robertson was not drafted by Detroit. Acquired in a trade for Mark Redman, and had already pitched for the Marlins before the trade. Similar to Boyd in that regard.
  2. I was curious so went over to Fangraphs and got LHP fWAR for Tigers since 1975. Frank Tanana 18.1 Justin Thompson 11.2 Matthew Boyd 10.5 Nate Robertson 9.2 Tarik Skubal 7.7 David Wells 7.5 Mike Maroth 6.9 David Price 6.4 Daniel Norris 6.0 Willie Hernandez 5.7
  3. I hereby nominate that far left nuts like the bridge closers are in Aisle Lunatic too.
  4. These MAGA folks hate dogs for some reason.
  5. He was arb eligible this year, and might not go next year if we pick his option up.
  6. Confirmed. (I can't believe I'm wasting time on this, haha)
  7. I registered as a republican just for the primary so I could vote by mail early. I'm currently scouring the August candidate pool to see which party I should join for that primary. It looooks like Dem because the only closed primary that has any kind of race appears to be US Senate. The moment the mail ballot came in, I voted for Haley and sent it right back. She dropped out a couple weeks later. I'd be curious the mail-in ballot statistics, but I'm not really going to spend time on a Flipowski tweet. He's blocked for a reason.
  8. ... and the corresponding move was to rescue Pedro Garcia and reassign him to extended spring.
  9. Apologies to @RandyMarsh for the picture that would be censored. Still doesn't show up in Pocketcasts...
  10. I love playing the "guess the headshot" game on BR.
  11. Billy Eppeler's suspension was a shot across the bow to keep teams from the phantom IL move.
  12. bWAR agrees with fWAR and there is separation.
  13. Career fWAR says Cobb, Kaline, Gehringer
  14. FWIW, I do think thin skin on social media can be a bit of a warning sign.
  15. Is there a vote tally out there? I'm curious where my rep voted. Edit, I see from his twitter he voted in favor, but used it to trash Biden's border policy, which is odd considering how that went down last month.
  16. You and me both, pal. By the way, I think this is the one Trump related case I think I could be fair and impartial on. This whole story is absurd, I don't really have strong opinions, and my history of officiating shows I can turn on the fair and objective side of my brain.
  17. Pedro Garcia in Lakeland is off to a rough start...
