  1. Honestly forgot all about that... And of course BB credited Matty P lol
  2. Don't understand Brady being that high...
  3. Whenever I think of both of these guys, I think about this game: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201811190ram.htm
  4. Really their big mistake was letting Bogaerts walk... Story made sense as a 2B option, but the reality is that his declining arm strength made him a questionable option as a SS option
  5. Jarvy had a bad year last year, but his deal looks better than Story's in retrospect all of a sudden
  6. If his ankle is as bad as it sounds, maybe the Tigers "cheapskate" 8/275 from a year ago wasn't such a bad deal after all...
  7. TBH, they should look to Syracuse and let Brett Baty have a chance....
  8. lol, this saga never ends
  9. I'm not sure when it was the same time you discussed it, but I do recall discussing Trayce around the time of the Yankees series where Willi royally ****ed up that play in CF. I wish Willi well, but after the raft of injuries in the outfield, it never made sense to me that he kinda just got carte blanche as an outfield piece on the team. To Harris' credit, I believe that he will be quicker to move to alternative options than the previous administration
  10. We needed to see more of Willi Castro in CF! lol
  11. Curious... how the "drain the swamp" caucus always seems to act in the swampiest way possible at all times
  12. Using Vierling primarily in the infield would be kind of a waste, his defense grades out really well as an outfielder and the Tigers have a few questionable defensive players in that department (Baddoo, Carpenter, Meadows)
  13. The Chargers will be a de facto home game as well lol
  14. In 20 degree weather, just not sure I expected a whole lot different from either team tonight. This seemed destined to be an old school, black and blue NFC North match-up. Just was never gonna be an "air it out" type game. Either way, the numbers don't lie, he was, both in terms of QBR and QB Rating, the best QB in their division and was a Top 10 overall in both categories. It's always smart to look to the future, but you would think the argument about the short to medium term would be put to bed by now.
  15. He's a divisive figure, but even if the stats don't show it (they didn't for the half of famer on the other side either), I thought Goff showed a lot of leadership and played a pretty clean game in a high pressure situation. They earned this one. Packers made too many mistakes, Lions came to play and win
  16. My goodness... Collinsworth may be dumping Rodgers for the Lions coaching staff lol
  17. Rodgers isn't exactly lighting it up either.
  18. To Collinsworth's point about seeing something new every week, nothing tops this, not even Rasul Douglas
  19. The fumble and well, whatever that was from Douglas, is the kinda thing that costs a team some ballgames
  20. He apparently was good buddies with Vest iirc. Not sure about the others, but I suspect he's a good presence
  21. Seen this movie before
