    It's a big stage for the untested Darnold. My big hope is he chokes. Meanwhile, Goff has been battle tested and has mostly had success. That's my hope/story and I'm sticking to it.

    Wow...these's a card of his catch. Too cool...his late inning grand slam was huge too, I think that was against San Diego? Or Seattle...? I stayed up for both...and yes, a very late night for the East Coast.

    Houston offered Bregman a very good contract that he refused. It would be great for baseball if he ends up losing millions of dollars by signing a much lower contract. Teach these spoiled, money hungry ingrate players a lesson. <ducks>

    I remember seeing a stat last night that showed Goff had more games this season with a 75% completion rate than anyone in history right behind Tom Brady. The quarterback rating doesn't make much sense, is it a stat based on performance?

    The Lions knew this game didn't matter too much so they played it close to the vest and didn't show much of their defensive plays. Look for them to kick Minnesota's butt next week!!
