It would be very easy for a poorly coached team to overlook Tampa but I don't see a MCDC coached team to do so. The Lions will be ready. I feel much, much more confident against Tampa than I did against LA. Tampa has a couple of very good receivers but Baker isn't one of the better quarterbacks in the league. Pressure him and it may be a blowout. Lions by 6? Yeah, I would take that bet.

Baker is nursing injuries and Tampa has the worst rushing numbers in the league. At least, I heard the announcers say that last night. I didn't actually look it up.

They got old...suddenly. They were going along at 10-1 and were the #1 seed until they fell off a cliff. I've never seen a team fold so quickly. 1-5 in their last 6 games to finish 11-6. Amazing...

Mcvay was coaching scared, coaching not to lose. But it cost him multiple chances. 3 times in the red zone he kicked field goals instead of trusting Stafford on 4th downs. If I were a Ram fan, I would blame his ultra-conservative coaching decisions.

They were struggling before Patricia got there. I really don't want to see his ass ever again at Ford Field. If they lose tonight, there's a very good chance he gets fired.

The Lions haven't lost 2 games in a row since October 2022. Best stretch I can remember.

I've never seen a team drop off a cliff as quickly as the Eagles. They were 10-1 and the top seed until they finished 1-5. And they beat some very good teams. Teams still playing and other playoff teams. Just don't understand it.

I agree the need for an edge rusher. In today's NFL, a secondary can't be expected to cover receivers for extended seconds. The rules are stacked against defenses because scoring is exciting. Like home runs in baseball. And the Lions do give up a lot of yards. But holding LA to 6 2nd half points was key to winning last night. If it were Campbell, we all know he would have gone for it at least once.

Exactly. There's really no excuse. It's the only game going on and getting the calls right is the only job officials have.
