I agree he only kept us in the game because Arizona is struggling. But the bottom line is he put us in a position to win. He made pitches when he needed to. He definitely didn't have his best stuff but what's expected from a #6 starter? Oh well...
No. Absolutely not. He's a power hitter that occasionally runs into one. He'll be lucky to hit .250 with 25 home runs or so. Hoping to elevate his game into Rob Deer territory.
Manning kept us in the game. I'm not being critical. And Arizona doesn't look like the same team that made it to the World Series last season. They look more like the WSox...lol
Dan Petry was just talking about that during post-game last night. He said that pitchers who think they can hit after not picking up a bat for 10 years are delusional. I wonder if Daniel Norris was the last Tiger pitcher to get a hit?
I don't know how many runs a game the Tigers average but I'm positive it's not 10.5 (average last 2 games), so if you believe in statistics, we'll be getting shutout in the next several games. <ducks>
It's even worse. All of this crappy merchandise shows that. Maybe they'll get an idea for a new hat...Wednesday Hats...for a limited time...$50.00. Lol
Player (and agent) greed really turns me off. Offer him a fair contract to make him and his family rich for life and if he turns it down, let him walk. We have a few good SP coming up soon.
The Fan Duel bet was $5 to win $22. A Javy RBI...Flaherty 5+Ks...both done. A Keith hit, he still needs it. But no thanks, I don't need to make $17 watching a baseball game...
He does a lot of jokes about pop culture. He made a remark about a Stephen King book several games ago and Craig laughed. I guarantee Craig had no idea what Jason meant.
