Correct. Its well known that rookie CBs struggle their first year. And they usually don't get calls from the referees. But the Lions coaching staff know this and they usually ease rookies into the fold. I think our secondary will be a strength by years end, headed into the playoffs. Can you imagine how good this team can be if we have a top 5 defense? Let's go!!

Also, Shota Imanaga for the Cubs is totally dominating. Didn't even try for him. I'm sure there were also several other players out there that could have helped our very weak offense. We got Canha...a good player but somewhat limited in his abilities. If the Tigers had one or two more established hitters,we very well could be closer to first place than last place. We wasted some very good early season pitching...
