On offense, I think we're pretty well set. Maybe a WR3 and a RB3. And a project OL if one falls to us. I would really prefer defense in the 1st 2 rounds but I thought that last year and ended up NOT being disappointed. What will Brad do? I have no idea but I'll support any decision he makes. The casual baseball fan who has NO idea of advanced stats may not agree. Many of these casual fans only use the usual stats...batting average, home runs and RBI when looking at player results. And there are a lot of fans who will remember Miggy as a great RBI producer. The same way I remember Wade Boggs as one of the best 2 strike hitters I've ever seen. Can I prove that? No, I'm not that deeply into stats. Many people are and that's fine but I think your under-selling just how good Cabrera was. Using stats, you can probably make your point but I promise you that opposing pitchers didn't care a bit about stats when he came to the plate with runners on base. It was...gulp!! 😁

You're right, I mistyped. 500 home runs for Miggy. I was surprised to see he had a better WAR (baseball reference):for his career than Greenberg. Miggy is/was an all-time great player. I'm sure his Tiger career, the last few years, hurt his cause a bit but he was still a great player. BTW...BR has Ty Cobb's WAR at 151...lmao...how is that even possible?
