If the Mets win game 2, they fly to San Diego. If they lose, they play Milwaukee. It sounds like an easy choice until you look at the Mets record against the Brewers. They lost something like 12 out of 14.
This DH is a disaster for MLB. The 2 teams fighting for the last WC spot, and seeding, get rained out and have to play a DH the day before the playoffs. It's a serious disadvantage for their games tomorrow. Place. Your, Bets....lol
Rookie cornerbacks take some time to start getting respect from the officials. It's just the way it is. They can get away with more in college and they didn't play against all the talent that the NFL has. And the game speeds up. Arnold will be a very good player, eventually. Fans just need to have patience with the kid
I don't know. Whoever pitches bulk innings tomorrow will probably be left off the wildcard 3 game series. Unless Hinch uses several pitchers to split the start up.
It's his turn and he's listed in MLB as tomorrow's SP but wouldn't they want him for the opening playoff game? Especially with Lorenzen maybe hurt? Skubal is only 5 Ks ahead. That stat is pretty meaningless compared to being able to pitch the opening playoff game.
