    Would fans really not want Miggy since 2008 just because his 2021-23 contract was too expensive? Do fans actually believe we would have spent his money on other quality players? I'll take the last few years of him being WAY overpaid for the joy he has brought me as a fan. A Triple Crown, people. Nobody can ever take away that achievement.

    I would gladly lose them as free agents if it meant a long playoff run by keeping them. But as of right now, I say trade them.

    I don't think he was a media darling. And he did say he would rather have time off instead of going to the All Star Game. Still no excuse, he should be in.

    Of course he did. Nobody wants to take on that contract. Now he can sign for the league minimum and the Tigers have to pick up the rest. I'm not a fan of guaranteed contracts.

    Seattle, at home, fresh from hosting the All Star game? I think Rodriguez will be fine, it's scoring him some runs that concerns me the most. He was a bit rusty his first game back and settled in after a rough start. And I saw the ERA of Lange since, I think it was June 1st. It was close to 10.00. Not going to cut it, use Foley as our closer.

    Lou and Tram shoulda gone in together. Longest DP combo in MLB history and that record prolly won't ever be broken. And Lou's numbers are as good as, or better, than many other 2nd basemen. IMO, which doesn't count, he should have already been in.
