    I don't like CMo as an announcer but I don't like hearing this type of story from any woman when she was a child against a grown man. If it all checks out, he should pay. Very disturbing.

    Because he's still young and has potential. I would think many teams would claim him if he were released. Stick him in their minor leagues and try to "fix" him. Look at some of the players Harris is claiming...

    I meant if he doesn't hit enough for Detroit (low bar), a different team may give him a chance to DH for them. But yeah, he has to hit to keep playing (at least, for most teams.)

    Did he play 3rd in college? Or were the Tigers just trying to save face of not being so stupid to take a 1st baseman 1-1, even if he WAS considered the best player in the Covid draft?

    From what I've read, most teams don't take 1st basemen in the 1st round. That's why the Tigers tried to move Tork to 3rd base. Many 1st basemen are defensive liabilities at other positions

    The bottom line is what's important in sports. It's a monopoly, the only way you can follow professional baseball is MLB. Unless you want to follow minor league baseball from a distance.

    Well said. People who complain about Tork don't understand he was the choice for being a #1-1 pick by most publications. I always say it was bad luck for the Tigers to have the 1st pick when there wasn't a multi-talented player to draft. No Bobby Witt Jr for us! And he was taken 2nd?

    The Yankees are struggling and they desperately need starting pitching. Do they have a young SS or 3rd baseman blocked? I don't know their system at all.

    I like the quick games but I wonder about pitchers arms becoming fatigued during long at bats. I saw an 8 pitch at bat last week in the heat and it's like an intense workout for the pitcher.

    Yeah, it was a drama. The idea was good and the first couple of seasons were pretty good but it got kinda stale. At least, IMO.

    From the show Suits. That commercial is the stupidest thing on TV. I keep my speaker remote handy to hit mute as fast as possible. The next worst is those singing Burger King commercials. Unwatchable.
