Playing out of position is always fun. It's hard enough being good at one position but forcing a player to play multiple positions doesn't always work out. But it's fine, that's what spring training games are for.
True, but don't forget we had Mize, Skubal and Manning on strict pitch counts. Plus we used Norris for a few 5 inning starts. This year, these guys are off the leash. Go ahead, give us 7 innings...😅😅
But wouldn't it also cause them to not allow 2 rookies to make the team in the same season? Greene wins ROY this season, extra picks. Torkelson wins ROY in 2023, extra picks. Hmmmmm
I hope he does it in Detroit this season.
Is there enough games to stretch out our SP this spring? Maybe they should have allowed an expanded roster for the 1st 2 or 3 weeks?
Oakland seems to always come out on top on finding talent, using them on inexpensive contracts and then trade them for high prospects. Yeah, I would worry about trading with them.
Teams that lead the league in turning the ball over usually end up with double digit losses for the season. Some can win by losing the time of possession but those are the ones with the better defenses.
I don't agree. Teams that don't control the clock OR turn the ball over a lot, lose. You never heard of a defense getting exhausted? Lose the turnover battle, field position battle or time of possession and you lose more often that you win. Football basics.
