  1. Yeah, I was being sarcastic. Carr is an interesting quarterback, there were times he looked pretty good. If the Lions could get a reliable running game going, we could make an average QB look good. Especially with our WR depth.
  2. I would trade Goff for Derek Carr and the Raiders 1st round pick.
  3. If the NFL doctors have documented proof the player shouldn't play and the player insists on playing, he should have to sign a waiver warning him of the consequences. And the NFL wouldn't be liable for future damages.
  4. Perfectly said. And with Detroit being so close to being a serious contender, it may be an appealing place for a FA to come to. We may be able to draft for depth instead of need. I guess it depends on which free agents we sign.
  5. And Green Bay has to beat the (lucky) Vikings.
  6. And get flexed to a night game? -20⁰?
  7. Agreed. Another win and they go 8-9. If I were offered that before the season, I woulda took it. This is the most optimistic I've been about their future in years.
  8. Starting the comeback. Gonna shock the world!!
  9. He's just not very good. Should have known. At OSU, they always played patsies in non-conference games. And they always had a great pass rush, never exposing him to wide receivers finishing their routes. Very over-rated player.
  10. What did they win, 3 in a row on the road? That's really hard to do in the NFL. Crowd next week at home is still going to be crazy.
  11. I'm happy with meaningful games in December. Very unexpected.
  12. Glad we get the ball 1st in the 2nd half. Down 24-7 and after giving up an opening drive TD. Yeah, I'll never agree with that coaching decision.
  13. Defer the opening kick on the road. Expose your defense.
  14. Campbell says he messed up by going for the 50+ yard FG late in the game. Punting may been our only chance to win, but that's Monday morning quarterbacking. My choice would have been to go for a first down.
  15. Part of me wants us to face the Vikings. But I also worry they may want revenge. But of all the teams playing in week one, they may be the easiest to beat. But winning in Carolina would have Ford Field rocking against the Bears.
  16. I would be surprised if the Rams win another game. At home against Denver then finish the season on the road, at the Chargers and then at Seattle. Our pick from them might be in the top three? The bad part is, we may need to root for them to beat Seattle.
  17. The Packers won't be a big draw without Rodgers. A 3 win team. And him and Brady look very washed up, very weak arms. Age catches up to us all....
  18. With higher expectations, comes greater disappointment. Setting the bar this low is a way to lessen future disappointment. I want to go the other way and relish every bit of possible success my favorite team gets. Yeah, we may eventually lose but our opponent will know they were in a dogfight!
  19. A game from 22 years ago was brought up. And I'm telling you, this team is different. After we win at Minny in the 1st round, we'll get revenge on Philly at their place. Then, on to the NFC Championship game in San Francisco. Book it!!
  20. Isn't that the game Herman Moore dropped a sure TD pass while being wide open? All of the SOL teams blend together. But this team has a much different feel to it. Kinda cocky...like they expect to win. And Vegas agrees!
  21. We've won the last 3 on the road, against better teams. Carolina will be tough but winnable. After we win, we'll witness a madhouse at home against the Bears.
  22. Green Bay. A top 5 pick from the Rams and our pick at mid-20's? Yes, please.
