    I think he has to clear waivers, and Detroit would have to decline to buy him back before Chicago can send him to a farm club. But my understanding of such things is on the level of Clifford the big red dog, so who knows.

    Old Hoss pitched in the 600 inning era. Over 2 seasons (1883-4) he started 141 games, completing 139. He went 108-37. In total he won 300+ games in 11 seasons.
