  1. Good point. I have wondered how many of the so-called Hamasholes have been Putin-Trump operatives. EDIT: Now that I think of it, are we sure they did it for free?
  2. If WCBS 880 bails, then it won't be much longer for WWJ 950 and WBBM 780.
  3. In a race where opinions have more or less calcified, it's less about convincing people and changing minds than it is about staying top of mind, driving turnout, and not ceding that particular part of the arms race to the opponent.
  4. Ivanka is not a good guy and never has been. Let it go. 😉
  5. Exactly. As I've said, it's absolutely bonkers that people blame high gas prices and grocery prices on the president of the United States, instead of on the oil companies and the major grocery chains. It is the same strain of intellectual dishonesty that says that Trump was a better president than Biden because we were in no wars under Trump and we are in two wars under Biden, when in fact not only do we no troop involvement in those two wars cited, we were in an active war in Afghanistan during the entire presidency of Trump and Biden got us out of that.
  6. How much you wanna bet the Republicans will pay actors to portray Hamas supporters to try to disrupt the DNC, and I believe they will do so precisely because they accused Harris Walz of paying actors to show up at their rallies, and really, who would make such a way-out accusation literally no one else is contemplating, except people who would engage in that kind of chicanery themselves?
  7. Ah, yes, there it is. That's why (italics mine). ⚡ The latest: The Trump campaign said yesterday that its internal email had been hacked, with documents "obtained illegally from foreign sources hostile to the United States, intended to interfere with the 2024 election and sow chaos throughout our Democratic process." Steven Cheung, the campaign communications director, warned reporters in a statement: "Any media or news outlet reprinting documents or internal communications are doing the bidding of America's enemies and doing exactly what they want."
  8. I just think the board can tend toward having our heads way, way up our own ass on certain topics, and Hillary is one of them.
  9. I don't think the vast majority of Democrats believe that Hillary is the liability everyone here believes she is.
  10. I like the idea in general, but it's a huge risk making Trump the bogeyman of the DNC. They have 2-1/2 months of rallies and commercials that can do so afterwards. I think they should make Kamala and Walz the star of the DNC show.
  11. Their existing hatred of Democrats is the nail, and the price of eggs is a hammer. If eggs dropped to 99 cents, they'd forget all about eggs and use another hammer.
  12. Maybe it's a passing of the torch thing?
  13. So you’re basically saying managers lose games? 😉
  14. Never mid playing the Yankees, play the LLWS champs. It would be a closer contest. 😏
  15. Yeah, don’t take any calls from the capo, just send an emissary to create distance and plausible deniability, as well as add to the mystique. Not just a baller gangster move—a baller Don move.
  16. They couldn’t get any days off from their summer job at the Lobster Roll Restaurant in the Hamptons.
  17. Is Trump humble and/or conscious enough to contact Mr. Putin Sir so he can tell him what he needs to do to win the election just tell me and I’ll do it?
  18. Do they require a card for abortions?
  19. They’re obviously AI paid actors giving fake news endorsements.
  20. And the frosting on that cake is that weed and abortion are on the Florida ballot.
  21. I don't necessarily agree, but this is a defensible post.
  22. How was I to know, Kamala, that you were with the Iranians, too?
  23. Thanks for the link. Yeah, they had a emotionally-starved and structure-free childhood, and that's very sad. Also, I am seeing Dweezil in concert at the Riv next Wednesday.
  24. The real question is, is he gaining more people with his schtick than he's losing people with it, or losing more than gaining with it? What's the net change in which direction?
  25. From the story: "Mr. Trump has a history of claiming he will provide evidence to back up his claims but ultimately not doing so." This has always been a schtick of his: make a claim, say you have evidence, get the claim in the paper, then drop the subject assuming just getting it into the paper will be enough to convince people. This has worked for a lot of years because it's a tactic we'd rarely seen before in this country, so people weren't sophisticated enough to catch on. But we're getting smarter, Trump knows it, and he's sing-songing his way to irrelevance this November.
