  1. I don’t know … 20 was the number in Newtown and rather than it being considered unacceptable, the effort to protect 2A seems to be supercharged by it. So maybe the bigger the number, the bigger the pushback.
  2. Paul Goldschmidt approves of the Alex Faedo promotion.
  3. Defense on full display in the bottom of the second: Javy error, Haase wet noodle throw to the plate, TORK! dropping yet another foul popup.
  4. When it comes to the performance of the economy, it doesn’t matter what party people like. People get bamboozled by dishonest media. What matters is how the economy performs.
  5. WIN! Five in a row! 13-8 in the last 21 games! DAYUM!
  6. Man, what a gutsy play by TORK! That’s not always gonna work, but it did that time.
  7. And a high fly out for number three. How about some free baseball, people?
  8. OK, that’s out number two. Come on, man, need you here …
  9. I think the Tigers’ calculation with Cisnero was to get enough out of him to flip him in July. After all, you don’t keep a 34-year-old pitcher with a spotty history around because you think he’s part of the future of the team. He is the epitome of tantalizing talent. Seems to me like the roll is going to come up snake eyes, though.
  10. Oh my god, what a dumb send that was … just tried too hard on that …
  11. Oh no, Javy, bad time for an infield pop up … Come on, Schoopy … need you one time here …

    MAP PR0N!

How many counties are you away from the nearest big league ballpark?

    MAP PR0N!

Seeing how Oakland County is well over a million in population, it would have to take two or three hundred thousand or more Jews living there to give them any chance to dominate that county. There are a lot a lot fewer Jews in America than people generally realize, something like 2% or so of the total US pop. I don’t think they’re even close to being the majority even anywhere in New York.
  14. Eric Haase didn’t even notice for a couple seconds that the strike three got by the catcher and now we have a chance to stick it up their butts.
  15. Say what you want about Jonathan Schoop’s vapor bat—he is one of the best second baseman in the game.
  16. Also, thank god Baez wasn’t caught off second base before Riley scored the tying run. The Tigers scored the tying run! Again! I LOVE this team right now!
  17. Not a badly-hit ball by Schoop. Thank god he didn't hit into a double play.
  18. It doesn’t matter what team he’s on. Drew VerHagen has never made me happy.
  19. Adam Wainwright is St Louis’s Spencer Turnbull today.
  20. The hitters giveth, Turnbull taketh away. All five runs come on homers.
  21. And Riley Greene ties the game with an RBI single! I LOVE this team right now!
  22. Eric Haase saw the confusion over the pop fly to right field leading to a collision and sneaked home with the second run. Heads up.
