I think we'll see more successful catcher challenges than those from batters. They just have a better perspective of the entire plate than batters do.

I suspect different teams will take different approaches to challenging pitches, and eventually there will be enough data from which to build a reasonably accurate set of analytics that most teams will follow. Fringy teams might benefit from being a tad more aggressive -- a la Dan Campbell's early reliance on going for it on 4th down -- but by and large the league will coalesce around a common strategy.
