  1. Pat McAfee was the only sports media guy who didn't write Campbell off after that presser. Everyone else thought they were real clever sh*tting on him. Max Kellerman looks particularly douchey in retrospect, but that's to be expected from him.
  2. Holy hell, the Packers are gonna pull this off, aren't they?
  3. You aren't referring to that obvious PI call, are you?
  4. I like the Lions chances at home against GB more than I do against SF on the road. Both will be tough, but the conference championship game is supposed to be tough.
  5. Mayfield missed several open receivers downfield last night, too. If the Lions can run on the Bucs D, I like their chances.
  6. Has Baker connected on any of his long throws?
  7. Matt Patricia happened to the Eagles. Feels like Tampa should be leading by more than 13.
  8. It was 4th-and-long with over 4 minutes to go, and the Lions offense had not shown the ability to move the ball against the Rams defense in the 2nd half. I don't think it was a terrible decision considering those conditions. Obviously it was the wrong decision, but in the moment I didn't raise an eyebrow.
  9. Who had Lions win 1st playoff game in 30 years on a Badgley 54-yd FG on their bingo card?
  10. All the defense had to do was not give up a 1st down on 3rd and 17, and they couldn't manage it.
  11. While I'd rather it was Detroit doing this to Dallas, it's still fun to see the Cowboys being force-fed a large helping of karma like this.
  12. As a Ram, Stafford has to deal with opposing crowd noise at every game.
  13. I've heard a lot of callers basically write this game off as a loss because Puka and Cooper. Same with people I run into down here in Texas. The Lions improved pass rush is apparently a chimera that can't be counted on because it's the result of exotic blitzes, which has been the talking point since the Broncos game. I mean, okay, I guess. My favorite talking point, though, has been Mike Valenti -- who I like -- saying the Lions lack of playoff experience is a huge deal. Dude has been repeating the mantra "the Lions are gonna win the division and win a playoff game" for over a year now -- who tf did he think the Lions were gonna draw that had less playoff experience than them? 🤣 I'm not saying there aren't valid concerns, because there are. The DBs need to play way better -- although it should be noted that despite being torched by Jefferson and Lamb three games in a row, they "won" all three of them -- and the running game needs to return to form, but overall, I think the Lions are a better team. And they're playing at home.
  14. I don't know if anyone here has done that or not; I'm thinking of people I've heard on the radio and some I've talked to irl.
  15. This is how I feel, too. The Rams are a really good team, but it seems like a lot of people are keen to build up their strengths as impossible to overcome while dismissing the strengths of the Lions as insignificant or easily neutralized by LA. The Lions are a really good team, too, and they're at home with a healthy O-line and a QB who excels behind it. I expect them to win a tight, high-ish scoring game. Also: LaPorta's gonna play. Book it.
  16. I think it means they're sticking with Fields. If they were going to draft Williams, they'd have cleaned house completely.
