    What if the price for a good O-lineman was a 1st rounder? What then? Your point about Holmes burning draft capital on draft reaches is solid, but it has nothing to do with acquiring an O-lineman at the deadline.

    They'll be 3rd in the division, and every team other than the Bears holds a tie-breaker. This team has looked flat against good competition all year. I didn't say they can't make the playoffs if they lose tonight, but it becomes a real possibility if they do. If you can't recognize that, you're whistling past the graveyard.
