Well heck. Just as well. Saw that Lawrence Butler hit an inside the park home run for the Athletics in the first inning of tonight‘s game and the A’s have scored five runs against Atlanta so far and it’s only the second inning.

I watch lots of cycling on TV and when guys hit the ground really hard there’s a concussion protocol and they wait until they’re certain they’re OK before they let them get back on the bike.

I’ve got GameDay going on my phone when I’m watching the game on TV and it’s been awful lately. GameDay will constantly get through two batters and then revert to the beginning of the inning and get confused. I don’t know what’s going on, but it sucks.

Jack’s cap looks as sweat stained as my Tigers caps looked like when I lived in Tucson, Arizona in the early 70s, although I wore my caps for two and three years at a time until they finally wore out.
