Indeed.

In the last few years, I’ve always completely ignored the way the Tigers MLB site pestered me to “vote the straight party ticket“ and try to get the whole team into the All-Star game. “Back in the day“ of MTS I remember voting 100 times to get <cough> Bonderman on to the AL All-Star roster and a part of me has never forgiven myself for drinking that Kool-Aid. I don’t know if I will bother doing it now that things are different or not. It seems fruitless. The idea that a person who thinks Verlander left the Tigers to get a big free agent contract has a vote equivalent to my own appalls me.

I think we’re going to need a driveway report or a front stoop report to keep us advised of the weather.

I just checked and Sawyer is on the roster, but nobody has been taken off the roster and right now at least on the MLB site the Tigers have 27 players which can’t be right. Maybe I caught it moments after it happened and they haven’t taken whomever they’re taking off the roster.

He’s not on the roster yet, but this might just be a formality that occurs just before the game.

At 10:11 AM Gipson-Long still not on roster I expect after last night Smith would be sent down, but what the heck do I know…

I guess it’s raining right now in the morning but it’s supposed to stop and there’s a 51% chance of rain for a while right around game time so hopefully they get the game in and nobody slips on the grass and falls down, and gets a boo-boo.

I don’t think I’m going to bother to watch Tigers live post game tonight.

I hope Sawyer Gipson-Long can toss a 77 pitch no hitter tomorrow.

This is not our night. When that became apparent to me, I went to In-N-Out to get a shake and a fry and it was backed up 25 minutes at least so I went to McDonald’s and got a shake and a fry and it sucked and now we’re losing 8-1 which if my math is correct is worse than when I left.

For a while, the umpire was actually calling balls and strikes correctly almost as if someone had told him how crappy he was, then Hanifee got two balls called strikes to get out of that inning
