I hope I’m wrong but there’s a good chance the Tigers lose this game. It’s a road game for one thing, so right there you’re operating at a deficit. The Tigers are also showing fewer signs of the hitting prowess that characterized them earlier in the season. It might well be that scouts from other teams are beginning to ascertain what makes this lineup tick. Cleveland sure seemed to. And they are facing a pitcher that is really good and we are sending up our fifth starter, who has his moments as well as his issues. Actually, they have no right to win this game, but they do have a tendency to surprise so I’m hoping that’s the tendency that prevails today.
