I totally forgot about this game because I spent the day hanging out with my son who lives in Portland Oregon and is in town for the week. We went for a great walk in the botanical garden, had a tremendous lunch, and then went to Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which was slow and tedious at times but finally picked up and was worth the 2 1/2 hours it took, which was better than this game from what I can tell.

I always wondered why the Tigers thought they could take a college first baseman and turn him into a major league third baseman. The Wizard of Oz can hand out brains, hearts, and courage, but even he can’t turn a first baseman into a third baseman.

Game over. Let’s forget this game, clean our palates and come out tomorrow in 1-Adam-12 style with chains and knives and show these guys who’s tough.

Let’s pull the plug on this game and score 14 runs tomorrow.

No one has ever paid me handsomely in advance for doing anything other than dog sitting. I’m impressed by what he pulled off there.

Colt has 3 hits, the Tigers have K’d only 3 times, and no tornado has ripped through the ballpark. Life is good.

I could’ve sworn we won the first six games of the season and three of those in a row were against the White Sox. I guess I’m now living in an alternate reality where that didn’t happen. I hope it’s the alternate reality where I have several million dollars in my account when I open up my banking app.

Another couple insurance runs would be nice. Two 10+ Games in a row will play havoc with Pythagoras.

I was following this game and feeling glum and my son said “let’s watch episode five of FALLOUT on Prime” and we did and it was great and I missed these two innings. I’m happy this happened though; it’s nice scoring runs like a normal team.

This really sucks. We’re actually going to have to score runs if we hope to win this game.

Curses. Foiled again. 2-0. AZ.
