I’ve always thought this brown Padres color pallet was about as unattractive as you can get. Yeah, I know it’s a “Padre“ but still blah. Brown conflicts with my season. I don’t know what my season is, but it doesn’t include brown.

I’m getting used to this winning thing. There’s an almost perverse reliance upon it being there with predictable assurance. I haven’t felt authorized to experience this for a long time.

Jeez. We only got 3 hits. But it’s runs that count.

Oh boy. Tigers live is next. Two and three minute stretches of ads interrupted by a few seconds of remarks. Maybe it’s hard to scramble and get things together and they’re just killing time. It’s not like they want to give us ads. I chewed my nails down to the point. I was bleeding waiting to find out who won “pick the stick.” Thank God there’ll be two or three minutes of ads so I can gather myself and be prepared for what comes next. The excitement is exhausting.

This is a good way to break up a no-hitter.

They have 25 games left and if they keep “winning“ at a .226 rate they will finish the season with 125 losses.

It’s almost the definition of futility.

They really need to give him some runs for a cushion.

Dan and Andy are really great together. On radio or on TV.

I know that Dan is supposed to do a certain number games a year, but I didn’t think he normally did this many in a row.

I like it when players love being in Detroit. When Earl Wilson talked about how great it was coming to Detroit it’s really pretty touching. He never left.

Almost every meal I really like has nearly 100% of the sodium I should take in in a single day so you’re probably right about this.

I just thought we needed a double play and it happened. I wish I had thought I needed $1 million. That’s not being too greedy. It doesn’t go quite as far as it used to.

I haven’t been to Chipotle in a while, but I just saw an ad for it on the mlb.tv feed and the guacamole looked really great. And I had no idea that they employed attractive models at Chipotle so that’s another reason to go there.
