  1. We need some Wenceel magic
  2. Jack charges back from 2-on no out. The Game of Living Dangerously.
  3. Now we need a double play
  4. We need a triple play
  5. And Jack gives up his obligatory first inning home run
  6. To paraphrase Moneyball, Jack Flaherty does indeed “look like a baseball player.“
  7. The Tigers have gone 18–9 for an .667 Pct. against teams in the AL Central so far and have 25 remaining games against these foes. They've gone 40-25 against everyone else in baseball for a .615 Pct. They haven’t just been “beating up on their own weak division.” I don’t know if anyone credible would say that they’ve been doing this, although my son’s coworkers in Idaho have been needling him with this BS. If they had lost only two more games to Central clubs they would have a .609 intradivision winning pct. and less than what they’d achieved overall against all the rest of baseball. This team plays well against everyone.
  8. Wow, that’s about the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.
  9. I hope Jack can return to something resembling an acceptable groove today.
  10. By the way, when I hit the Like on this comment, I meant to give the trophy not the laugh. I’m not laughing at this. It’s a very good post.
  11. Cleveland breaks the 11th 10 game losing streak in franchise history.
  12. I decided to watch the last inning where Cleveland is hanging by the skin of their teeth over the Astros, 6–5 and thanks to a pitch clock violation Fry stayed alive and hit a home run to make it 7-5.
  13. In all reality, I can’t watch Cleveland play Houston just not enough for me to care.
  14. Bibee’s no no over
  15. Right now, Cleveland is doing us the favor of beating the Astros 4–0 in the fifth. Ramirez hit a three run homer and the Guardians pitcher Bibee has held. the Astros hitless for four innings.
  16. They pulled Montero after six innings even though he’d only thrown 68 pitches so my assumption is that when he gets very far into the third time through the batting order that he gets hit a lot harder I’m just guessing and I don’t know how to look this up.
  17. Easy inning for Hanifee.
  18. Brenan Hanifee replaces Tyler Holton.
  19. Is there an echo in here?
  20. Zach McKinstry homers (7) on a fly ball to right field.
