I almost switched over to that broadcast for the last inning, but the idea of pulling myself away from Johnny and Todd and the guy from Ilitch Holdings they were interviewing was too tough to bear.
I haven’t read this entire thread so if I missed this information too bad. I just wanted to know about the Erie Seawolves name change and how long or how many times they would use this name so I looked it up.
The Erie SeaWolves, will not be changing its name for only one game. They are temporarily rebranding as the Erie Moon Mammoths for four games during the season: July 19, August 19, September 12, and September 13.
I don’t really care about the Home Run Derby, so since I have never watched it I had no idea there were only six guys: Ronald Acuña Jr., Cal Raleigh, James Wood, Byron Buxton, Oneil Cruz, and Junior Caminero.
With this game starting at 5:10 PM EDT this is not really a “night game“ so the Rays can still leave town at a halfway decent hour to get to their Thursday night game in Boston while also avoiding the pain incurred by both clubs for rescheduling.

Someone needs to put an end all this foolishness of the Toronto Blue Jays, who have won 10 games in a row and are just as dangerous as the Astros in snatching the bye away from us.
Can’t depend on boys to do a man’s job, but fortunately we face them after the end of the All-Star game for four games July 24-28.
After losing a 6-1 lead Angel Martínez of the beloved Guardians hits a grand slam to give them a 10–6 lead in the top of the 10th inning over the despised and besotted Houston Astros.
Well heck. Just as well. Saw that Lawrence Butler hit an inside the park home run for the Athletics in the first inning of tonight‘s game and the A’s have scored five runs against Atlanta so far and it’s only the second inning.
I watch lots of cycling on TV and when guys hit the ground really hard there’s a concussion protocol and they wait until they’re certain they’re OK before they let them get back on the bike.
