Mr.TaterSalad Posted Tuesday at 03:38 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:38 PM I want the Canadians to win the Cup at this point. I would like to see a Canadian team finally break the streak and win won. Go Habs Go! Quote
lordstanley Posted Tuesday at 04:02 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 04:02 PM As a painful reminder, I drove to Montreal on March 20 after watching the Red Wings pull out a late winner against the Habs at LCA the night before - the two teams were tied in the standings with 84 points through 69 games! slothfacekilla Posted Wednesday at 05:01 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:01 PM Wonder if Alex Tuch cost himself some money with his playoff performance (probably not). Seven points in six games in round one but then didn't manage a point in seven games in round two, which is crazy with the Sabres scoring 25 goals against the Habs. Free agency is so bad overall it probably won't matter one bit but it was definitely interesting to see him disappear last round. Seems like a lot of people have been hot and cold this playoffs, but it has certainly been entertaining. 1 Quote

lordstanley Posted Thursday at 08:52 PM Author Posted Thursday at 08:52 PM (edited) Must mean guys most likely to be moved? This is what Seravalli says about Cossa: "First round pick Sebastian Cossa's overseasoning in Detroit appears to have backfired on GM Steve Yzerman, now somehow behind Trey Augustine and Michal Postava in the pecking order." https://www.hockey247.com/2026/05/21/frank-seravalli-morgan-rielly-toronto-maple-leafs-first-trade-targets-board-offseason-goalies Edited Thursday at 08:54 PM by lordstanley Quote

slothfacekilla Posted Thursday at 09:32 PM Posted Thursday at 09:32 PM Seravalli never gets anything Red Wings related right, seems like he's out here just guessing Quote

lordstanley Posted yesterday at 12:30 AM Author Posted yesterday at 12:30 AM (edited) Beaten on that 2nd goal, but how can Gostisbehere have been cast off by the Wings but gets regular minutes with top seed Carolina? 50 pts in 55 games this season, $3.2mm cap hit. GalagaGuy Posted 51 minutes ago Posted 51 minutes ago (edited) Colorado and their fans seem to have underestimated Vegas. What's wild is that the Red Wings actually won more games than Vegas this season. Edited 41 minutes ago by GalagaGuy Quote
