But he ran the business side, and while technically Dumars reported to Wilson, Dumars ran the basketball side. But JEIII made it sound like the new person would be running the basketball side. At that point I don't see why Weaver would be retained. He is still very young (49) and he built the Warriors into what they were. If he has no interest I ask if he would consider a 3 month consulting gig.
